Kristina is currently a competitive figure skater and has competed at the International, Collegiate, National, Junior National, Sectional and Regional levels over the past 18 years.  She is the 2017 and 2013 Central Pacific Senior Ladies Regional Champion and has been ranked among the top 36 figure skaters in the United States for over ten years.  Her skating accomplishments include being a U.S. Senior Ladies National Figure Skating Championships alternate, a 4-year member of the U.S. Young International Team, a 2-time Junior National Championships competitor and a 10-time Sectional Championships competitor.  Some of her favorite skating highlights include medaling at the U.S. Collegiate Figure Skating Championships, being a 12-time Regional Championship Medalist, skating in the Utah-Moscow Youth Games, and performing in the 2002 Winter Olympic Games Opening and Closing Ceremonies.  She has trained at the U.S. Olympic Training Site in Colorado Springs with Olympic level coaches and skaters, currently continues to compete throughout the year, and performs as a guest skater in a variety of professional and amateur events.

Kristina’s competitive and coaching experience assists her own Sport Psychology Consulting.  Kristina worked with a sport psychology consultant during her own competitive career and hopes to share the same positive experience with aspiring athletes and performers that she has experienced herself.  Because she personally endured pressure, nerves, fear, injuries, success, frustration, expectations, media, international/high level competition, Kristina has an excellent understanding of all factors and underlying factors that go into being a successful performer, both physically and mentally.  She firmly believes in making the best of every situation and striving for whole-person development.

Kristina is a member of United States Figure Skating and the Professional Skaters Association. She is also a Figure Skating Professional Coach and coaches skaters of all ages, levels and abilities across the Salt Lake City valley.
