NICOLE DETLING, PHD, CMPC
Dr. Nicole Detling received her BA in psychology and sports science from Ohio Wesleyan University, her MS in sport psychology from Ithaca College, and her PhD in sport psychology at the University of Utah. She also completed a sport psychology internship in the Sports Medicine Center at the Mayo Clinic.
Hillary Israelsen, MS
Hillary Israelsen received her BS in Exercise and Sport Science and her MS in Sport Psychology from the University of Utah. She has been consulting with athletes since 2009. She has been sought out by athletes and coaches to teach sport psychology skills and techniques. She has given presentations at a coach's clinic and sport training sessions.
KRISTINA STRUTHWOLF, MS
Kristina joined HeadStrong Consulting with an extensive background in sport psychology consulting, coaching, world-level athletic training and international athletic competition.
Kristina received her MS in Psychosocial Aspects of Sports in 2013, graduating with honors from the University of Utah. She also completed her BS in Exercise & Sport Science and Minor in Nutrition at the University of Utah.
NICK GALLI, PHD, CMPC
Dr. Nick Galli has worked in the field of sport and performance psychology as a professor, researcher, and mental training coach since 2004. A certified consultant by the Association for Applied Sport Psychology (AASP), he also holds a Ph.D. in the Psychosocial Aspects of Sport from the University of Utah, an M.S. in Sport Studies from Miami (OH) University, and a B.A. in Psychology from Sacramento State University.
RILEY JENSEN, MS
Riley Jensen has been playing or coaching high school and collegiate football for more than 27 years. Over the past (6) years he has been part owner and co-founder of the Mountain West Elite sports camps which operate in several states.
Sean Davenport, MS
Sean is a graduate of the University of Utah, receiving a BS in Exercise & Sports Science (’11) and MS in Psychosocial Aspects of Sport (’14). He joined the Headstrong Consulting team in Spring of 2015. He also currently works for the Professional MBA program at the University of Utah as a Program Coordinator.
Chris "Cru" Jones, MS
Chris, aka “the bike psych,” received a M.S. from the University of Utah in Sport Psychology after completing a B.S. there in Exercise and Sport Science/minor in Nutrition. Chris focused his M.S. degree studies on mental tips and training to benefit cyclists but has also enjoyed working with other performers and athletes in skiing, figure skating, dance, football, basketball, running, and more.
